Tia Mowry is clarifying her relationship with her twin sister, Tamera Mowry.
“Everyone thinks there’s a huge rift or distance, but that’s not the case,” Tia, 47, told Us entertainment tonight In a clip from the interview shared via Instagram on Tuesday, December 16. “The world, they’re used to us all being together, but eventually, we all grow up. We all have our own families. Yes, there’s distance because we’re all doing our own things, but when something is important to you, or when it’s a priority, you make time for it.”
Tia revealed she and Tamera, 47, have “made a deal” to “check in with each other once every Sunday.”
“So as long as we make time for each other, that’s all that matters,” she added.
Twins Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry-Housley have gone through their acting careers side by side. Tia and Tamera grew up in the spotlight together, first gaining recognition on the ABC/WB sitcom sister, sister.
