Three people were killed in a shooting in a small town in the Australian state of New South Wales, police said.
A fourth person was taken to hospital with serious but stable injuries.
Local police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred in Lake Cageligo at around 16:40 local time (05:40 GMT).
Police also told the public to avoid the area and local residents should stay indoors. Local reports said the gunman is still at large.
The police statement said Emergency services were called to Walker Street near Yergin Street following reports of a shooting.
Two women and one man died.
The Sydney Morning Herald reported that the incident was a suspected domestic violence attack.
The report also stated that authorities were still trying to find the gunman and had deployed heavily armed tactical police.
Seven News reported that the gunman fled the scene in a vehicle owned by the local council.
Lake Kageligo is located in central New South Wales and has a population of approximately 1,500 people.
