This is where your plan takes shape (Nerd Fitness Challenge)


(This is part 2 in our Nerd Fitness Challenge series – designed to help you build fitness habits that last. You can read part 1 here.

In the last step.you have identified the things that usually get in the way when you try to stay consistent.

Now we will use this information to choose one departure plan – not your “forever”.

In the video below, I will explain how to choose:

  • A training focus
  • And one optional nutritional focus

Here we go. Two things, max.

Here’s the key idea I want you to keep in mind as you make this decision:

We create consistency first.

We can always level up later if things feel too easy.

How to choose (quick delivery)

Exercises

  • Look at your schedule and decide how many short workouts per week are realistic
  • Write: “I have to work ___ times a week”

Nutrition (optional)

  • Choose a focus.
  • Purpose for 5 times a weeknot every day
  • Write: “I will work on ___ 5 times a week”

Five times a week gives you flexibility and momentum.

If you are wondering “what exactly should I choose?”

Here are the most common starting points we recommend:

For workouts

For nourishment

  • Include protein with meals
  • Include fruits or vegetables with meals
  • Or make a short food log to get a base (writings, photos, apps, etc.)

You don’t need the “best” option – just the one you’re most likely to stick with.

Your action step

Carry out Section 2: Core Practices on .the worksheet..

Choose your training focus. Optionally, choose a feeding habit. Write them down.

From there, your job is to do the thing Each time you complete a workout or your nutrition focus, fill out a section of the tracking ring.

Next, we’ll talk about how to handle the days when things don’t go according to plan—and how to adjust once that feels easier.
