‘This Is Us’ star reveals who was invited to join Justin Hartley’s stalker

Reed concluded: “If I had the right storyline, I would do it. But I’m always against just guest appearances. We have to get a good emotional story out of it or an interesting storyline.”

In the case of Brown, Moore and Sullivan, Focus on their upcoming That Was Us Live event will be held on January 17th. This special live show, which will take place at the Wiltern in Los Angeles, California, promises to revisit Brown, Moore and Sullivan’s usual set before incorporating live music.

We’re talking about the music throughout the show and how it fits into the fabric of the show,” she joked. “Once we’re done talking about the music, we’re going to have a couple of special guests come in and help us talk about it. We’re also going to have some special performances for people who come to the show. That won’t be part of the episodes that will air in the future.”

According to the trio, anything is possible for That Was Us Live. “I’ve actually started taking vocal lessons in anticipation of this live show,” Brown teased after Moore praised his skills. “He likes to act like he can’t sing. He’s an incredible singer.”

“Now that it’s been a few years since the show, I’m experiencing the show purely as a fan. I find myself incredibly moved by the show. It wasn’t my show, it was their show. But I understand in a new way the resonance it had when it was out in the world,” he reflects. “This is a show that connects people in such a wonderful way.”

Brown continued: “When I watched the show, I was very aware that I was watching people who fell in love with each other. There was an incredible structure, there was incredible writing and storytelling – but the relationships you saw on camera were based on people’s real-life relationships that were based on love. For me, it felt so clear watching it, and I experienced that while doing it on the other side.”

“As our episodes come to a close, we’ve been talking about (what to do next) — and how we can keep that connection going.
