The Trump administration is undermining the EPA’s enforcement of the Clean Air Act

After months telegraph to moveThe Trump administration today officially repealed the EPA’s 2009 “hunting in danger,” which found that greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and methane were dangerous to human health and well-being.

These findings also contributed to the agency’s regulation of greenhouse gas emissions under the Clean Air Act. Currently, the new law applies to car-to-car emissions, but it is expected to be the first in a series of similar changes to air pollution laws.

Before the findings can be fully resolved, however, the EPA has a long way to go. The original acquisition took two years to establish.

The move by Lee Zeldin, EPA administrator, will reduce emissions by about 10%, according to to axios. This is very important, but it is not enough to change the situation, mainly because cheap extensions has dominated new energy generation in recent years.

“This action will only increase pollution, and that will result in huge costs and real harm to American families,” Fred Krupp, president of the Environmental Defense Fund, told TechCrunch in a statement.

Continued climate change is expected to raise mortality rates and about 2% in the US, and so on reduce global GDP by 17% by 2050, or about $38 trillion.
