The Adobe Firefly video editor can now create the first animation from images

The video editor in Adobe Firefly is getting a new feature called Quick Cut that uses AI to edit images and B-roll to create the first frame of the final video based on user instructions.

Childs, you have to upload your video and B-roll in the video editor, and manually fix the changes. With Quick Cut, users can specify what they want the video to be in natural language, and the tool will only change the unnecessary parts of the video, and put together different parts using the appropriate graphics to change between cuts.

Users can also select frames from B-roll and use one of the animations available within Firefly to create short transitions.

You can use the dialog box inside Firefly’s video editor to specify edits as color mode and move between edits, or add B-roll mode. Users can apply Quick Cut to an entire project, a specific time, or a selection.

Adobe emphasized that the purpose of Quick Cut is to provide original content, so editors will still need to edit, assemble, and perform editing tasks to fit the video.

“When we talk to our users, who are designers and marketers, the biggest problem they really communicate is the need for quick conversions, the need for time-saving solutions that just allow them to go to their creative vision as quickly as possible,” Mike Folgner, head of AI products and next-generation video tools, told TechCrunch.

“One thing we know is that some of the things that come with the video (editing), like just taking the best selections, are not the ones that get the joy and the difference. They get the joy from putting it in. So Quick Cut means helping producers who have TV to find the story very quickly and just get to the cut story as quickly as possible,” he added.

Adobe has been pushing regular updates to its video-related tools. In December, it was released a new time-lapse video editor which brought components and quick editing – the editor takes different objects as components and allows you to change them using instructions, or using tools such as resizing and rotating.

The company has also added ability to change quickly in Firefly, allowing users to tell a video model how to change video elements, colors, and camera angles, as well as a time frame that allows you to easily change frames, sounds, and other features.
