The Union High School football team continues its pursuit of the Virginia High School League Region 2D Championship after advancing to the semifinals on Saturday, November 29, just nine days after their head coach. Travis Turnerdisappeared without a trace.

Turner was charged five counts of child pornography Virginia State Police on Tuesday, November 25, disclosed five counts of using a computer to solicit a minor. A warrant was obtained for Turner’s arrest on Monday, November 24th.
Additional charges against Turner remain pending as the investigation remains ongoing. Turner is now listed as a “fugitive.”
Turner has been a coach at Union High School since 2011 and is also a physical education teacher.

When asked about rumors that her husband had been seen carrying a rifle into the woods near their home, Leslie said, “I was told not to comment.”
Turner’s attorney released a statement Tuesday regarding the pornography and solicitation charges.
“We remain in our prayers for his safe return and for everyone affected by his disappearance,” the lawyer said Adrian Collins a representative of the Turner family said. “We trust God to bring truth and clarification in his time. Any allegations should be resolved through the proper legal process and not through speculation or rumors.”
“We ask that the public and media demonstrate compassion, accuracy and respect the family’s privacy,” the statement continued.
