‘Stranger Things’ Cara Bono reveals if fans will be satisfied with series finale

“I remember the read-through before we started[Season 5]we were together as a cast. It was a great moment. We started filming for a full year, which is really unheard of — especially in television. We all thought, ‘That’s going to be a long time.’ But I feel like the time flies by,” she noted. “For me, the last day of the show is the last day of filming.”

Bono recalled the day as “very emotional.” “Everyone was there, the family was there, and I was in the second-to-last position at the end of the show,” she told me us. “So, it was a really beautiful moment. Because in season one, I was on day one, scene one, shot. For me, it all came full circle at the end. It was just a matter of trying not to cry and saying my lines to get out of it.”

So what Karen is unleashing in this moment is not fighting, but telling the story and what she’s doing to protect her children.”

What we see in the show is a really interesting portrayal of Karen and Joyce and a lot of the characters. It’s always interesting to see how they’ve changed over the years,” she explained. “I’m curious, as the ’90s begin, what happens to Karen after all this and where she goes, especially after meeting The Devil. As she moves on with her life, that’s an interesting story to me.”

“Especially if she moves out of Hawkins when Holly goes to college, (perhaps) she decides to fulfill some unfulfilled dreams and maybe move to New York,” Bono concluded.
