Arrival procedures will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at the Yankton, South Dakota, jail, and McBee told the media that he plans to invite his family over for a final meal on Sunday, November 30.
“Obviously, I’m a cattle farmer, so (steak) is my favorite food: steak and potatoes. And I can eat potatoes any way — I like them roasted, mashed, fried,” he said.
McBee admitted that Sunday’s feast may be the last one he attends for the foreseeable future.
Looking ahead, McBee admitted that the “hardest expectation” his friends and family have for him is that he will get “big” in prison.
“I’m worried that if I come out, as long as I look like me, they’re going to be like, ‘Really? You’ve got a few months to work out,'” he said. “It’s a lot of pressure! I have to go in and work hard. Yankton is an old college and they say they have a really good gym and the food is better than a lot of other places. I’m trying to look for all the positives.”
