Snoop Dogg breaks silence after daughter Corrie announces baby’s death

Snoop Dogg’s son, Cordell C. Broaduswhile posting the same family photo via Cori, included an encouraging message for Cori Instagram Stories Saturday.

“Sister Lil, we always have your back,” Cordell, 28, added.

Corey, 26, posted the shocking news earlier in the day while sharing a black-and-white photo of herself holding her infant daughter. (Cody is Broadus’ first child with her fiancé Wayne Douce.)

“On Monday I lost the love of my life. My Codi,” she confirmed on Instagram Stories.

In a subsequent post, Corey dealt with the tragic loss of Cody that occurred less than a month after he was released from a long hospital stay.

“20 days later? OMG I’m sick,” she wrote.

In the same September 2025 interview, Cori explained us She relied on hope and faith to get her and Cody through such difficult times.

“I had a moment this morning because this baby, who came in there after I gave birth, she came home today and I just broke down,” Broaddus said. “I’m definitely happy. I’m ecstatic[for them]but it’s like, ‘Damn! You guys can go home. Our kids are still here.’ But then it comes back to my faith. You have to trust God and trust His plan. Everybody’s plan looks a little different. She’s coming home. Our journey home looks a little different than the next kid and so on.”

Corey has experienced two very serious health issues over the years. She was diagnosed with lupus at age 6 and later suffered a stroke in January 2024 at age 24.

“What really brought me closer to God was after I had my stroke,” she told me us Last September. “I told him, ‘God, if you let me get out of here, I’m going to tell the world about you, tell the world that you’re real.'” And he did. He got me through it. “
