Sister Wives’ Kody Brown and Ex Meri Brown’s Relationship Timeline

Meri is the last stop Kody’s ex-wife apologizesit wasn’t the smoothest conversation. After Kody and Meri got into an argument about how her friends were involved in their marriages, Kody admitted, “Listen, an apology is very much needed here because this is still very toxic. I apologize for that.”

Meri asked, “Are you apologizing because you were toxic to me, or were you just speaking in general?” Cody responded, “Yeah, I’m sorry that I was toxic to you, Meri, or was toxic to you.”

As the conversation continued, Meri told Cody to “stop using the word ‘apology,'” admitting that it felt “disingenuous” the more he said it. “Your use of the word ‘apology’ feels very extreme to me and very forced,” Meili explained.

Cody, meanwhile, admitted that he was “uncomfortable,” which is why he kept apologizing. Meri and Cody came away with very different opinions about how their conversation went.

“From now on, I want the sword to be put down. If we can move forward in the future, just make sure we’re very nice, we might be able to keep a good relationship with each other,” Cody told the camera.

Meri said in her confessional, “I’m not sure what all of this means now. Throughout the divorce process, during the estate process, I’ve found out a lot of things since then. But it doesn’t affect me. I didn’t listen to what he said.”
