Shia LaBeouf Arrested again in New Orleans on suspicion of Mardi Gras-related incident.
this Associated Press According to reports on Saturday, February 28, LaBeouf, 39, was arrested earlier in the day on suspicion of misdemeanor simple assault. The charge is related to his previous arrest on two counts of assault for allegedly punching an unidentified victim multiple times as he was being escorted out of a New Orleans restaurant on Feb. 17.
The incident allegedly took place at the Royal Street Inn and R Bar in New Orleans’ French Quarter neighborhood, where LaBeouf allegedly got into a fight with multiple people during Mardi Gras.

I mean, kid, I haven’t experienced this in a while, but I’ll be honest with you, big gays are scary to me,” he told channel 5 information. “I felt scared when I was standing alone and three gay men stood next to me and touched my legs. I’m sorry, but if that was homophobia, then that’s what I was. It only happened once, (and) that’s why I was arrested.”
LaBeouf eventually admitted that it was “wrong” for him to touch anyone.
“That’s the end of my statement on this whole thing,” he insisted.
