Screen Actors Guild (SAG) 2026 Actors Award Nominations: See the full list of nominees

Nominations for new SAG-AFTRA names officially announced Actor Award.

Abbott Elementary Schoolof Janelle James and fierce competitionbreakthrough star Connor Storey Nominations were announced ahead of the 32nd annual awards ceremony on Wednesday, January 7 Screen Actors Guild Awards Ceremony March 1st.

The 2026 awards season begins with critics choice award Sunday, January 4 – You may notice big changes coming to the upcoming awards show (formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards). In November 2025, it was reported that the SAG Awards will now be renamed The Actor Awards and will be presented by SAG-AFTRA.

“Our statue has been called The Actors from the beginning, and we are a show entirely about actors, so this new name is the perfect next step in the show’s evolution. The Actors Awards from SAG-AFTRA give audiences in more than 190 countries an immediate glimpse into who we are and what we’re about,” said Showrunner and Executive Producer Jon Brockett stated in a statement at the time.

Despite the awards show’s new name, fans shouldn’t expect to see differences in eligibility, voting or how awards are presented.

In addition to the film and television nominees announced Wednesday, the awards show will also celebrate Harrison Ford Won the Lifetime Achievement Award, SAG-AFTRA’s highest honor.
