Another alleged ransom note has been received in the case Savannah Guthriemissing mother, Nancy Guthrie.
TMZ On Monday, February 16, we received a fourth email from someone claiming to know who kidnapped 84-year-old Nancy. According to the publication, the email stated, “I know what I saw south of the border 5 days ago and I was told to shut up, so I know who it is and it’s definitely Nancy with them.” The email also features the same Bitcoin account as the first three ransom letters.
This is not the first time the account has mentioned multiple people involved in kidnappings. On Friday, February 13, TMZ received another ransom note, which read: “Get ready to go international.”
After the first ransom note was sent to TMZ and local media earlier this month, Arizona KOLD 13 News anchor Mary Coleman said the note “probably wasn’t a scam” and that she “knew it in a few sentences.”
“A lot of this information would only be known to the person who blackmailed her,” she added. “Some very sensitive information and things that would not be known to anyone who was not present when she was captured.”
Coleman also noted that the email “included an amount, a deadline,” and “further details that only Guthrie’s kidnappers may have known.” She said the information “definitely raised some red flags.”
According to TMZ, the Bitcoin account owner is Asking for $50,000 for information and remain anonymous because they have a record of burglaries.
Also on Sunday, Savannah, 54, posted on Instagram Praying for mother’s safe return.

“I want to stand up. It’s been two weeks since our mom was taken away, and I just want to stand up and tell everyone there’s still hope,” the “Today” host said. “We still believe, and I say to anyone who has her or knows where she is, it’s never too late, you’re never lost or alone.”
She continued through tears: “It’s never too late to do the right thing, and here we are. We believe. We believe in the inherent goodness of everyone, and it’s never too late.”
Earlier in the case, Savannah spoke directly to her mom in another video. “Mom, if you are hearing this, you are a strong woman. You are God’s precious daughter Nancy,” she said.
Savannah continued, “We believe and know that even in this valley, He is with you. Everyone is looking for you…and we will not rest. Your children will not rest until we are together again. We talk to you every moment. We pray endlessly and we rejoice in advance for the day when we will hold you in our arms again. We love you, Mom.”
