Savannah and her siblings subsequently agreed to a $50,000 ransom in exchange for Nancy’s safe return.
“As a family, we are doing the best we can. We are ready to talk. However, we live in a world where sounds and images can be easily manipulated,” Savannah said. “We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you own her. We want to hear from you and we are ready to listen. Please contact us.”
Savannah ended the emotional video with a message for her mother.
“Mom, if you’re hearing this, you are a strong woman. You are God’s precious daughter, Nancy. We believe and know that He is with you, even in this valley,” Savannah said. “Mom, everyone is looking for you everywhere. We will not rest. Your children will not rest until we are together again. We talk to you every moment. We pray endlessly and we rejoice in advance for the day when we can hold you again. We love you, Mom.”
There are currently no suspects in Nancy’s disappearance, but local police believe she may have been kidnapped.

Earlier Thursday, the FBI arrested a suspect for “imposter extortion for ransom.”
“We have arrested an individual in connection with the impersonation for ransom and a complaint will be filed with the magistrate later today,” said FBI Phoenix Special Agent in Charge. Heath Janke said at a press conference. “You will receive additional information from the FBI and our U.S. Attorney’s Office in Arizona as more information becomes available.”
Janke also revealed details about the alleged ransom letter at the press conference, including a deadline.
“First, I think it’s 5pm today, and then there’s the second deadline,” he said. “So we are continuing to deal with normal kidnapping cases and will try to discuss this now. But these are the timeframes we are looking at as we move forward.”
In light of Nancy’s disappearance, Savannah Paused today and her planned duties covering the 2026 Winter Olympics for NBC.
