Savannah said Thursday it was “absolutely terrifying” to see the people who may have taken her mother, but she hoped the video would keep the investigation going.
“I am pleased and grateful to the investigators and technology companies who were able to find the video,” she added. “So I at least hope that people of good will and compassion will stop the irresponsible and cruel speculation that has begun to spread. Savannah also told Kotb on Thursday that her sister Anne was the one who told her Nancy was missing.
“She was panicking and I was panicking,” she recalled. “We thought she must have had some kind of medical incident during the night and somehow the paramedics came because the back door was open, which doesn’t make any sense.”
