Sandstorm turns sky orange, Gazans urged to take refuge

Gazans were urged to take shelter as a sandstorm swept through the Gaza enclave on Saturday.

Most of the more than two million Palestinians living in the enclave have been displaced and live in tents or buildings heavily damaged by the war with Israel.

First responders under the leadership of Hamas’s Interior Ministry warned people to protect their tents to prevent them from blowing away.

Dust storms also pose particular health risks to people with respiratory and cardiovascular disease.
