“Thank you so much for the kindness, grace and support so many of you have shown me,” DeSilva, 45, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Saturday, April 4. “I’m overwhelmed by all of your messages and it truly means more than you can imagine. My heart goes out to my kids and my focus is on giving them as much stability and love as possible.”
She continued, “Living openly isn’t always easy, but it’s a reminder that we should all lead with compassion. You never know what’s behind the scenes.”
us weekly It was confirmed that Craig filed for divorce in New York on Thursday, April 2, ending a marriage of nearly ten years. The two met while traveling to Costa Rica in 2009 and finally said “I do” eight years later in 2017.
The two have a daughter, London, born in 2011, and a son, Rio, born in 2017.
During an appearance on the “Sofia With an F” podcast in 2024, DeSilva discussed the pressure that appearing on a reality show can put on a romantic relationship.

“I feel like when you put your relationship out there, when people look at you and judge you with, ‘This is what you signed up for,'” she said at the time. “My relationship is not worthy of judgment.”
Although Craig occasionally guest stars RonnieDeSilva decided to cover Craig’s face in social media uploads, calling her account and posts her “platform.”
“My husband is very involved in my life,” she added. “He’s my life. He’s my family, so he’s going to be on display. Anything that I can control, like my social media platforms, what is he doing there? He’s not going to be on the campaign trail, he’s not going to be shooting with me, he’s not my photographer.”
She continued, “It’s not his world, and I think people just don’t realize that he’s not on social media at all — not even a Facebook (page),” she said at the time. “He had nothing, so he really wasn’t interested in what I was doing for a living. He saw the benefit of doing it, and he thought it was awesome. He was 100 percent supportive of me, like, ‘Wow, I can’t believe you do this stuff for a living. It’s awesome, but I don’t want to be seen (and) I don’t want to be in your picture.”
Craig has yet to speak publicly about their breakup and subsequent divorce filing.
