Russian soldiers tell BBC they saw comrades from Ukraine war executed on commander’s orders

One of the men, whose job it was to identify and count dead soldiers, provided a detailed list showing that he was the only survivor among the 79 soldiers who mobilized with him. He said he was tortured and peed on because he refused to go to the front lines. Others in his unit who refused, he said, were electrocuted, starved, and then forced into a barrage of meat while they were defenseless.
