Russian fitness coach dies at 30 after taking binge eating challenge


Russian Dmitry Nuyanzin He died aged 30 after participating in a binge eating challenge designed to promote a new weight loss plan.

Several reports have been daily mailrevealed that Nuyanzin suffered a cardiac arrest while trying to quickly gain 50 pounds by eating 10,000 calories a day. Once he reaches his 50-pound goal, Nuyanzin apparently plans to show how quickly he can lose weight.

According to local media in Orenburg, a few weeks into the challenge, Nuyangzin canceled training because he felt unwell. He died in his sleep. He has now been laid to rest, according to the Daily Mail.

Nuyanzin graduated from the Orenburg Olympic Preparatory School and the St. Petersburg State Fitness University. During his lifetime, he served as a personal trainer for Russian athletes.

“What happens if you consume 10,000 kCal per day?” Nuyangzin Ask a question in an Instagram caption On September 15, he continued to document the results of his challenge via social media.

“I’m currently gaining weight for my weight loss course, which is my 10,000 calorie diet,” he told followers, according to a translation. “For breakfast I have a plate of pastries and half a cake. For lunch I usually have 800 grams of mayonnaise dumplings.”

Nuyangzin can be seen rubbing his swollen belly in the video, which also shows him eating a bag of chips. Nuyanzin told his followers that he already weighed 231 pounds, meaning he had gained approximately 28 pounds in one month.

Nuyangzin also appears to have opened up the challenge to his followers, making it a competition.
