She will always be in our hearts,” the Kennedy Library Foundation shared via Instagram at the time in a statement signed by Tatiana’s surviving husband, George Moranher parents of their two children, Edwin, 3, and Josephine, 19 months, Edwin Schlossberg and Caroline, her siblings, Jack and Ross Schlossbergand her sister-in-law, Rory Schlossberg.
Tatiana died just over a month after revealing she had been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia and given just a year to live.

I watched from my hospital bed as Bobby was confirmed to this position in the face of logic and common sense, even though he had never worked in medicine, public health or government.”
The reporter recalled that at the very moment she relied on round-the-clock care, she felt the entire health care system was “strained (and) crumbling.”
“Bobby may not remember that millions of people were paralyzed or died from polio before the vaccine became available,” she added. “My father grew up in New York in the 1940s and ’50s, and he really remembers it. Recently, I asked him how he felt after getting the vaccine. He said it felt like freedom.”
