Just weeks after he was arrested for allegedly violating a restraining order, real housewives of salt lake city Star mary cosbyson, Robert Cosby Jr., Divorce procedures are underway.

Many media reported that Robert Jr.’s wife, Alexiana Ariane Smokovfiled for divorce on Monday, November 24, in the District Court of Salt Lake County, Utah. According to the documents obtained peoplethe divorce petition requires that either party “shall not harass, intimidate or disturb the peace of the other party in any manner (including electronic means).”

Other prohibited conduct on behalf of either party includes “committing domestic violence or abuse against another party or a child, using another party’s name, likeness, image or identification to obtain credit, open a service account or obtain services, cancel or interfere with telephone, utility or other services used by another party, cancel, modify, terminate, change beneficiary.”

He was also charged Property damage/destruction, assault on a police officer or uniformed military SVC member, failure to stop on law enforcement order, interfering with a peace officer, and criminal trespass. PEOPLE confirms he was booked and remains incarcerated at the Salt Lake County Jail.

“Today, Robert Cosby accepted responsibility for the mistakes he made and the pain he caused his ex-wife and her family,” his attorneys said in a statement ahead of Robert’s hearing scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 25. “Robert slowly realized that his marriage was over. He continued to contact his ex-wife in an attempt to reconcile. He now realizes that the relationship is over and he must move on.”

Robert Jr. was previously arrested in September when police responded to an initial report of domestic violence. He is accused of trying to break into his father-in-law’s home before assaulting someone. Robert Jr. was charged with criminal trespass, assault, failure to stop at the command of law enforcement and three counts of violating a court order.

in the most recent US Weekly Cover story, Mary Admitted she was “shocked” When she learned about Robert Jr.’s problems, she added, “I immediately started blaming myself because I thought, ‘You can’t judge him and his life and his choices.'”

She continued, “I don’t believe in judging people. I’m just not a judge. I don’t like judging people and I don’t like doing it. … If he was open enough to tell me something so important, why should I judge? I had no choice but to sit there and take it and accept it and hope that I could help him.”

Mary admitted her son had “had some setbacks” in his recovery recently but prayed he “stays healthy”, telling us“I can honestly sit here and say he’s doing a great job.”
