When Lulu insists that they share a cab, instead of taking Charlie home, Lulu sends them to New Jersey, where she robs a liquor store. Just when Charlie seems to be developing a crush on Lulu, she lets Lulu pretend to be her boyfriend at her high school reunion—where her dangerous ex-con husband Ray (Ray Liotta), will attend.
wild stuff is a high-energy crime comedy driven by the infectious chemistry of its two leads. Jonathan DemmeThe energetic direction carries the film from start to finish, alternating between some wild tonal shifts with surprising ease. The film is the perfect blend of screwball comedy, crime thriller, romantic comedy, and road movie. Additionally, Lyotard was particularly prominent in this performance, which preceded his good guy breakthrough.

The dialogue in the movie is so well written that it feels like it was lifted directly from real life.
Eccentric medical student Herbert West (Jeffrey Combs) invented a method of treating death: a resurrecting agent that resurrects dead matter when injected. When Herbert moved to Miskatonic University in Arkham, Massachusetts, he converted the basement of his shared apartment into a laboratory so he could continue his experiments. He eventually brought his roommate’s (Bruce Abbott) Cats are brought back to life, but with vicious side effects. As more and more people on campus became aware of Herbert’s questionable research methods, it had dire consequences for everyone involved.
Horror movies in 2026 will have to work hard to compete with last year’s epics like “Arms” and the Oscar-nominated “The Sinner.” In the meantime, horror fans can enjoy most of the best horror movies of 2025, including the recently released Black Phone 2.
