Peacock expands into an AI-powered video, the first live game, and a game


Peacock is making a clear bet on two things: AI and mobile-first entertainment.

Based on what the viewer previewed at yesterday’s press conference, Peacock’s mobile app is about to look like a combination of TikTok, a casual gaming site, and a streaming service.

From the AI-driven stand-up video “Bravoverse” narrated by a digital avatar of TV host Andy Cohen to NBA broadcasts and mobile games, Peacock is developing a number of new features designed to extend viewers’ enjoyment of their phones.

The big reveal was a new episode called “Your Bravoverse,” aimed at regular viewers in the Bravo fandom, home to reality shows like “The Real Housewives” and “Vanderpump Rules.”

The feature pulls clips from over 5,000 hours of Bravo footage and stitches them into a custom playlist. The best part (perhaps) is that your guide will be the AI ​​artist of Andy Cohen, the famous creator of “The Real Housewives” franchise.

Users will start the event by selecting their favorite Bravo shows and popular moments. From there, the AI ​​creates personalized preferences. Then Cohen’s avatar acts as a narrator, introducing moments, connecting stories, and revealing new scenes that viewers may not have seen yet.

Behind the scenes, Peacock says the system uses computer vision to identify key stories and moments throughout its library. AI assistants trained on Bravo fan behavior help determine what viewers care about most, while the platform integrates seasons and franchises. The result, according to Peacock, is more than 600 billion colors that can be viewed.

If Peacock was looking for curious fans to try out the AI ​​story, Bravo viewers might be the perfect audience. The franchise’s fans are very dedicated, and reality TV makes for some great shows to boot. According to the company, the average Bravo viewer watches about 24 hours of Bravo a month, while some of the most dedicated viewers watch up to 75 episodes a month.

Peacock is not alone in watching the short film. Disney + launched a short mobile feed for US users on Thursday, featuring events and moments from its shows and videos. Netflix has also said it wants to expand its video platform to promote new video podcasts.

This isn’t Peacock’s first experiment with AI either. For the 2024 Summer Olympics, the platform launched a generative AI iteration which produced a 10-minute personalized recap of the previous day’s events, narrated by an AI voice based on sports announcer Al Michaels.

The company is also expanding its range of mobile games after introducing mini games in the app last year.

The streamer is launching two mystery games, Law & Order: Clue Hunter and Public Eye, both of which are powered by AI game developers. Although Peacock recently added subscribers, the platform is still operating at a loss. Peacock has grown to 44 million subscribers, from a peak of 41 million subscribers in three consecutive quarters last year. However, the streamer report a loss of $552 million in Q4 2025.
