Palestinians convicted of deadly attacks face death penalty under new Israeli law

Limor Son-Har-Melech, a member of Ben-Gvir’s party, survived an attack by Palestinian gunmen in which her husband was killed. She believed the law was necessary, citing the example of one of her husband’s killers who was later released and went on to take part in an attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.
