Subscribers will be able to select multiple options or rate how someone is doing on a five-star scale. Ratings can be done using the TV remote or the Netflix app.

Netflix said that this will work worldwide, and behind the scenes, the platform will receive ratings in real time. Viewers will have a limited time to vote, and after that time, additional votes will not be counted. This means that if you watch the program later, you will not be able to participate in the voting.

Netflix has leaned heavily on shows like “Everybody’s With John Mulaney” and “Dinner Time Live with David Chang,” as well as sports shows, including NFL Christmas special and WWE shows.
