The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Star jesse draper natikoala Chrissy’s has nothing but good things to say about Hair Chris Rasmussen.
“People compare us a lot because she’s in Arizona and I’m in Utah,” Jesse, 33, shared on the show. Not Skinny But Not Fat Podcastreleased on Friday, November 21st. “We’re like JZ and Hair by Chrissy — Habit Salon is the name of her salon — and they just compare us all the time.”
Jessie made it clear that despite both being Internet stars in the hair industry, there was no feud between them.
“I would say Chrissy has always been one of my idols. I was in some of her classes,” Jesse said. “I love her. I know her and her husband.”
She added, “I don’t know how she feels about me, but I think she’s great. I’ve literally been one of her biggest fans in her career.”
Jesse points out that the beauty world is “very competitive.” She even shared the guy slow Star Mesinelli and Michaela Matthews Head to Chrissy to get her hair done before turning to Jesse.
“I don’t know if it’s going to cause any problems,” Jesse admits. “But she’s talented and she creates some crazy and amazing things.”
Jesse’s positive comments about Chrissy come at a time when the influencer is facing major controversy.
Chrissy was called out by TikTok creator @notknown808 for allegedly having a bad experience at Habit Salon.
The internet user shared her salon experience on TikTok earlier this month, claiming Kris was “not to be found” in the salon. The TikTok user was involved in extensions, coloring and cutting, and was allegedly helped by 10 other employees.
While sharing receipts from her experience at the salon, @notknown808 apparently paid over $4,000. One charge was for $2,974 and was called “Chrissy Services,” which allegedly consisted of Kris touching her hair.
“The price paid for the service was a bit disappointing,” @notknown808 explained in her video, claiming the services “didn’t meet my expectations.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Kris for comment. However, the internet-famous beauty influencer is yet to respond to the controversy.
Kris did cleverly bury the criticism by posting a video of her getting a hair service in a salon. She also dropped some merchandise that appeared to be an attempt to jab at the ongoing controversy. Chrissy posted a photo of a T-shirt that read “Hair in 4k” and said fans would be able to purchase it soon.
Meanwhile, @Notknown808 posted her own T-shirt that reads “Kindness Is Worth More Than 4K.”
Several celebrities, including Bachelor Nation’s Madison Prewett and next generation new york cityof Ariana Biermanwent to Chrissy’s salon (she has locations in Arizona and California) to get her hair done. Several influencers revealed they received Kris’ services for free in exchange for content about their salon experiences.
