Missile lands next to presenter during live coverage

Video from Russian state broadcaster RT captured the moment a missile landed in southern Lebanon just feet from where its reporters were broadcasting.

RT (formerly Russia Today) said its Lebanon bureau chief Steve Sweeney and his photographer “miraculously survived” and were being treated in hospital.

The BBC has verified the video.

Israel continues to conduct air strikes and ground operations in southern Lebanon.
