The Kennedy Library Foundation announces Schlossberg’s death via Instagram Tuesday.
“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts,” the statement signed by Tatiana’s husband read. In her latest social media post, Shriver praised Tatiana as a “great journalist” who, in her own words, “educates others about the Earth and how to save it.”
“She built a wonderful life with her extraordinary husband, George, and children, Eddie and Josie,” Shriver continued. “She fought like a warrior. She was heroic, strong, courageous. … Tatiana was bright, humorous, joyful. She was smart, as they say, smart, and sassy. She was funny, funny, loving, caring, and a perfect daughter, sister, mother, cousin, niece, friend, all of that…”

I never really cared for my daughter – I couldn’t change her diaper, bathe her or feed her, all because of the risk of infection after the transplant. I was away almost half of her first year. I don’t know who she thinks I am or if she will feel or remember me as her mother when I’m gone. “

According to Tatiana, Moran “did everything he could for me” during her illness.
“I know not everyone can marry a doctor, but if you can, it’s a very good idea,” she points out. “He was perfect and I felt so cheated and sad that I couldn’t continue to live this wonderful life with this kind, funny, handsome genius that I had found.”
As for her family, Tatiana praised them for “holding my hand without flinching while I suffered and trying not to show their pain and sadness to protect me from hurt,” adding that their support “is a great gift, even though I feel their pain every day.”
In her latest post, Shriver urged her followers to read Tatiana’s words and savor every moment of their lives.
“May we all embrace Tatiana’s family not just today but in the days to come, and may each of you reading this know how lucky you are to be alive right now,” she wrote. “Please stop and respect your life. It is truly a gift. ♥️“.
