During Sunday, April 12th, An episode of the hit HBO series, rue(Zendaya) recounts how her debt to drug dealers turned into her smuggling fentanyl from Mexico into the United States via drug balloons. She would swallow them and then have to get home in time to pull them out and help distribute them.
Rue tries to change his career by asking strip club owner Alamo (Adewale Akinnuye-Agbaje) hire her. Rue and Alamo begin a relationship after she tells him she believes in God and after a brief test in which he attempts to shoot an apple off her head.
Cassie (Sidney Sweeney), meanwhile, lives in the right wing with Nate (Jacob Elord). She wants a big wedding, which means Cassie is trying to make it big on OnlyFans by making sexy videos of herself as a dog, for example.

“Some people have asked why it took so long between seasons two and three. There were the obvious factors — the walkout, trying to fit the schedule with our incredibly popular cast, but the real time was trying to figure out a way to honor those we’d lost,” creator Sam Levinson said in a speech before the season three premiere.
He continued: “It was hard when Angus died. I loved him dearly and I fought hard to keep his innocence. The year he died, in 2023, he was one of 73,000 people to die from a fentanyl overdose in the United States. I learned a lot that year, but most of all I realized that death gives life meaning. You can’t be arrogant about existence. You are forced to face the fact that life itself is a miracle, a gift, and a profound blessing.
