This career move could be a good thing for me and Barnett and I don’t want to risk jeopardizing that.”
At the time, Barnett confirmed they did not have a prenuptial agreement.

Lauren Speed Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton also opened up about salaries and finances.
“Well, before we got married, when we were filming the show, one of the things we talked about was money and bills and paychecks,” she told bride August 2020. “At the time, Cam was focused on his corporate AI work and I was working as a freelance artist, so, of course, our salaries were a little different at the time. But, I felt like it was nothing to hide. We were married. We worked together regularly. Even if we sometimes did different jobs, we shared it. It wasn’t a secret to us.”
They eventually set up a joint bank account before their first anniversarywhich they use to pay bills and other house expenses.
“The idea behind a joint account is to create an account where we can pay bills, mortgage, utilities, groceries, home improvement projects, and everything we share together,” Cameron explained to Weddings Magazine. “We just felt like it made sense to contribute equally to this because we live together and work as a team, especially now because we’re doing so much more together.”

When Natalie Lee and Shane Jensen return to a normal life in Chicago, she’s ready to buy a house together.
“We need to sit down and look at our financial situation because I don’t do that at all and it’s probably not wise,” he said. “I spend the money on food, probably about $2,000 a month.”
Consultant Natalie then told the realtor they needed to be “on the same page” on financial milestones and budgets, and was shocked to learn that Shane didn’t “believe” in 401K retirement accounts.
“I take a lot of risks with this kind of thing,” Shane explains. “I guess that’s what makes us different. I like to take risks. We can’t live a normal life, buy a house and put money into a 401K.”
According to Natalie, if she wasn’t already in a “good financial situation,” she would be “a little scared” of Shane’s adventurous spirit.
them final split Before their upcoming wedding day.

Alexa and Brennon Lemieux didn’t actually sign a prenuptial agreement when they got married.
“We never had it. I never asked for it,” she says in the book. Instagram Stories Q&A December 2022. “That’s Brennon bringing it up and asking for someone to protect me. It’s just something I have no interest in doing. It’s absolutely fine, it’s just not something I personally want.”
After four years of marriage, Brennon file for divorce December 2025.

One of Stacey Snyder’s biggest concerns about her relationship with Izzy Zapata is his low credit score. While she ultimately said “no” on her wedding day, hours before, he tried to rectify the situation.
“Obviously, given that it was an issue, I hired a financial advisor the day before the wedding,” Izzy said in an October 2023 episode “The Viall Files” Podcast. “I was like, ‘(This is) another obstacle, like, I’m going to solve it,’ and that’s what I tried to do.”
He added, “She even had this jacket made with my last name, and she was excited, and then it came up to finances, and she felt like I completely caught me off guard. … We sat down and talked about it, and she was very uncomfortable with (what I told her). I (said) I didn’t have any debt, my student loans were paid off (and) I told her I had a 1099 (tax form) because I had changed careers and I was doing insurance at the time, and she was like, “You took a 1099, not a W-2? “
According to Izzy, Stacey was allegedly nervous about the “lack of stability” of the 1099 (which is often used by advisors) because it did not include benefits.
“It blew my mind,” he explained at the time. “Like, damn, I didn’t realize… (I said) the only bad thing is my credit is bad (because) I got a credit card when I was 18 or 19, screwed up, and my credit was terrible.”

Before Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans got married, they signed a prenuptial agreement.
“It just didn’t show up on the show,” Taylor said in a March 2025 Tik Tok video. “I just want people to think of a prenup as a couple deciding what your legal terms are, rather than the government deciding, because if you get divorced (and) you don’t have a prenuptial agreement, then the government decides what that is.”
She added, “I don’t think anyone plans on getting divorced after getting married, and especially if you get married in an unconventional way, like on a reality show, it’s smart to be able to dictate the terms of your relationship in a legal way. That’s why Garrett and I do this; we’re very much on the same page.”

When Clay Gravesand split from AD Smith on their wedding day, he blamed it on allegedly not knowing her financial details. She later called it “a contact” during a March 2024 appearance on “Kami Crawford” podcast.
“When I was scouted (because love is blind), I was like, ‘I want this,’ so I prepared myself for it like an adult,” AD said on the podcast. “I’m also a real estate agent. If you know anything about real estate, you can make your own time (and) your own schedule and do your own thing, and then, I worked at a nightclub that my ex owned. (Clay) knows it all. “
According to the ad, she also told Clay that her finances were “in good shape” because of the preparations she had made before joining the dating show, which included leaving a club gig.
“You immerse yourself in the experiment,” she emphasizes. “I’ve been keeping up really well and I don’t feel like I should explain that. … You could have asked, but He never asked to see my finances Or anything really. He just said, ‘I don’t know how you can do this, but I can’t do it,’ but throughout, his work was dramatic and he didn’t prepare himself for it. “

After leaving the pod and returning to real life in Minnesota, Virginia Miller told Devon Buckley she wanted to sign a prenuptial agreement before getting married.
“I think I’d be most comfortable with having separate accounts, even like a prenuptial agreement,” said Virginia, who aspires to become a millionaire through investing. “I think we can work out the details. Obviously, in a divorce, I feel like the worst thing that can happen is you get divorced. The (best-case) scenario is for people to keep what they have and figure out how to divide the assets before they become reality.”

When DeVonta Anderson admitted to fiancée Brittany Wick that he wasn’t sure about walking down the aisle, he also explained how finances contributed to his hesitation.
“I know the sacrifices I’ve made to get to where I am today. I don’t want to lose this, half, or a lot,” he said in the penultimate episode of Season 10, which aired in February 2026. “So, a prenup? I don’t think we even talked about that on the podcast. I’m not saying that’s personal, it’s more personal to (me) and I feel good about my marriage. My own space.”
Brittany is excited to be married to Devonta, admitting she doesn’t want to marry someone who “feels like she has to protect herself from me.”
