“We are beyond blessed, grateful and excited 🫶🏻 We love you so much baby and we can’t wait to meet you!! 🥹,” she added.
The following month, Arnold took to TikTok to talk about her feelings before giving birth to her first boy. “Honestly, I’m still kind of in disbelief,” she shared. “We currently have two girls, and I grew up in a family of all girls. I’m the oldest of four girls, so girls are very important in my life,” she explained, noting that she has 10 nephews.

“There were definitely a lot of boys on my side and Sam’s side,” Arnold laughed. She went on to say that “before having kids,” she was “sure” she would be a boy mom because Cusick’s family is mostly filled with boys. “Since sex is determined by male sperm, I’m sure we will only have boys.”
After giving birth to two daughters, Arnold thought it was “impossible” for her to have a son. “It doesn’t feel like it’s going to be an issue for us. If I had to guess, I think it would be a girl.”
She shared that she took a blood test to determine the gender and felt “stressed about this baby” because it was “most likely (their) last child.”
“Of course we’d love to experience what it’s like to have a boy,” Arnold said. “Sam would love to have a son.
She described the feeling of finding out they were having a boy as a “fun and cool moment.” She added, “Sam is so excited. We’re all in shock. I literally can’t wait.” Arnold also admitted that being a mom of boys is “nervous” because she’s been “full of girls my whole life.”
“I have now Been a mother of a girl for over five years It felt normal,” she explains. “I wanted to step into the role of a boy’s mom and be the perfect boy’s mom, but I didn’t have any experience. I definitely felt like I was heading into the unknown. “
She added, “Our lives are going to be very, very different.” Arnold went on to explain that she had to “start over” shopping for a new car seat because her old one had expired, as well as clothes for her baby boy, among other things.
“I don’t think I own a lot of gender-neutral clothing, so we definitely need to go shopping for (our) baby boy, which is so exciting for me,” Arnold gushed.
She concluded the video by saying her daughters were “so happy to have a brother.”
“We seriously can’t wait,” she wrote in the post.
