“We can confirm that Offset was shot and is currently hospitalized. He is in stable condition and is being closely monitored,” a representative for the musician confirmed in a statement to multiple media outlets.
Seminole, Florida, police confirmed in a statement that an incident occurred outside the hotel and casino. TMZIt was the first to break the news about the Offset shooting.
“We are aware of an incident that occurred in the valet parking area outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood just after 7 p.m. Monday night, resulting in one person suffering non-life-threatening injuries and being transported to Hollywood Memorial Regional Hospital,” authorities told the outlet.
“Seminole Police officers responded immediately to the scene and the situation was quickly brought under control. Officers have detained two people,” the Police Department added. “The investigation is ongoing. The location is safe and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal.”
