“My sweet baby, I have dreamed of you since before I knew you,” Mancera wrote. via Instagram Sunday, December 28th. “I dreamed of building a family and dreaming of the life your dad and I talked about and imagined together. I’m so excited for you, but my heart still aches. It hurts from the moments I couldn’t share with him, and the love I wish you could experience like I did.”
She continued, “I don’t think time will make this any easier, but I know God knows what my heart needs. He has blessed me when I needed you the most. Through it all, you have given me purpose, hope, and something to hold on to. I trust God’s timing, and even in the times of pain, I know He is carrying us both.”
Nyland is a star player for the Dallas Cowboys; died of apparent suicide November 6, 24 years old.
“I promise to love you with everything I have done for you and me as a dad,” Mancela wrote. “I can’t wait to meet you, hold you, and watch you grow. I love you already 🤍.”
Mancela revealed that she will give birth to her child in June 2026.
Shortly after Neyland’s death, the Cowboys first public announcement Mancera learned of Mancera’s pregnancy when she unveiled the Marshawn Niland Memorial Fund, which will provide financial support for Mancera and the couple’s children.
The Marshawn Neyland Memorial Fund is “dedicated to preserving Marshawn’s legacy and amplifying his impact by directly supporting his surviving partner and unborn heirs,” according to its website.
Mancera broke her silence Niland died on November 24, admitting she was struggling to adjust to her “new reality.”
The former coach of late Dallas Cowboys forward Marshawn Niland has revealed that he spoke with the NFL star just days before his sudden death. “I am heartbroken at this moment, as well as the hearts of Marshawn’s family, teammates and coaches,” Michigan defensive line coach Lou Esposito said in a statement.
“I still hold on to a glimmer of hope that Marshawn will walk through our front door singing and dancing to the music he heard in the car,” Mancera shared on Instagram. “This is no longer my life and I am now living my worst nightmare. Marshawn is more than just my boyfriend, he is my best friend, my muse and my reason.”
Mancera and Niland have been dating since he was a student at Western Michigan University. He was selected by the Cowboys in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
“My sweet boy is truly gone,” Mancela added, “and all I would do is hug you again and tell you how much you meant to me. But now I have you on the other side watching over me and waiting for me. I will see you again. Thank you for choosing me and letting me love you.” I will always be grateful for the time we spent together. Your laughter will always be in my mind and I will carry on your legacy as long as I am here. I don’t know what life will bring to me, but you will be a part of me every step of the way.”
