Kyle Richards sues Kim sisters for 2025 eviction: report

According to court documents obtained by Kyle, 57, he reportedly named Kim, 61, in a January 2025 lawsuit. TMZ Saturday, April 11th. In the report, Kyle asked the court to evict Kim from her apartment in Encino, California.

Kyle claimed her sister had lived in her two-bedroom property for years and claimed she first asked Kim to leave in late 2024. TMZ reports that Kim never responded to the lawsuit, and a default judgment was entered in March 2025 requiring Kim to surrender ownership of the property. Court documents obtained by TMZ the following June revealed that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office attempted to serve Kim a judgment, but she allegedly moved out of her sister’s residence before it could be served.

Neither Kyle nor Kim have spoken publicly about the legal dispute. US Weekly Representatives for both reality stars have been contacted for comment.

Kim co-starred with Kyle Roba during the first five seasons of the hit reality show and later guest-starred over the years. Kyle and the siblings’ other sister are still housewives, Kathy Hiltonnow appears as a “friend”.

In the years since Kim left the Bravo franchise, she’s been dealing with A series of ups and downs. In September 2024, news broke that Kim had been detained by the 5150 Psychiatric Unit of a local hospital for alleged “incoherent” behavior. (Under California law, 5150 Psychiatric Detention allows an individual to be held involuntarily for 72 hours to undergo a mandatory mental health evaluation if the person is deemed a danger to themselves or others.)

Kyle later offered to take care of her sister upon her release. King also struggled with substance abuse for years.

The next year, Kyle and Kathy again provided an update on Kim during the meeting Roba Season 14 reunion.

“She’s spending time (in Florida),” Casey told the host Andy Cohen During the April 2025 gathering. “She’s doing better.”

Kyle added that Kim was “better than last time” in the news.

King has not spoken publicly about any of her reported struggles and has since stepped back from the spotlight. Her last public appearance was An episode in 2023 Roba.

“I do believe — and I’m going to get emotional — that life is too short to fight,” Kim told Kyle of her feud with Casey at the time. “It’s just not worth it. It bothers me. I hope you guys can fix it somehow. (Life) can be so short.”

Kyle and Casey eventually mended their relationship later that year.
