Just three companies controlled $189 billion in VC investments last month


AI continues to rule the world, on a new Crunchbase report.

A total of $189 billion in international business transactions began in February, according to the report. All AI startups raised $171 billion, or 90% of the amount raised last month. It’s an amazing number that feels like a starting point.

The amount spent worldwide was more than tripled VC funding in Januaryand it was dominated by large investments from only three companies: OpenAI, Anthropic, and Waymo.
