“I love that they call her Gold Digger,” Jelly Roll, 41, recently told us The taste of country night. “She hates it. It just makes her furious.”

“But it was super exciting for me because when I met her,” he points out, “I was homeless and living in a 1996 converted van, so if anyone was digging for gold, it was me, Popeye. I couch surfed and ended up in the bedroom.”
Bonnie Xo, 46, Married to Jelly Roll Since 2016, the couple has been candid about the highs and lows of their relationship. Recently, Bunnie Xo wrote about their early dating days in her memoir, which included references to Jelly Roll’s infidelity.
“I tried to be as real as possible about the situation,” she exclusively told US Weekly books about her, Streamlined: Unfiltered and unapologeticreleased in February. “I think I might have even toned down.”
Bunnie Xo didn’t want to hold anything back, adding, “It’s really important to keep it real. My husband is my best friend. I love that man to death – we’ve been through hell.”

“It’s raw, it’s emotional, it’s a journey,” she added. “I feel happy for people who have never experienced any trauma in their relationships. But I just feel like my husband and I had to go through this because it’s part of our testimony. It’s part of our survival – we choose to be together every day.”
Before Stripped Down was released, Bunnie Xo gave her husband an early copy.
“He’s reading the book right now. When I write chapters, I’ll tell him, ‘Do you want me to send you this book?’ and he’s like, ‘No, I just want to read it when it comes out. To be honest. My husband has never stifled my creativity,” she gushed. “That’s one thing I love about my husband. He’s my No. 1 supporter.”
Meanwhile, jelly rolls praise His wife is outspoken.
“There were times when I had a hard time just reading the book,” he told People last month. “We went through a lot of pain and had to go through it together, but it was really touching to read the whole book and see how it ended.”
Jelly Roll continued: “I’m so proud of her for telling her story so unapologetically. I mean, she’s fearless about talking about everything from domestic violence to sexual assault. I’m so proud of her. She’s so brave.”
