Isabella Ferrell claim Justin Baldoni Made “inappropriate” comments about teen sex scene while filming It all ends with us.
According to a deposition transcript obtained by Ferrell US Weekly On Tuesday, January 20, a lawyer asked the actress if she remembered feeling “uncomfortable” after Baldoni described one of her intimate scenes as “sexy.”
“This felt inappropriate in a work environment and considering it was not necessarily a note of any kind related to my performance,” Ferrell said in the filing. “It felt so out of place and weird to hear that the scene was supposed to be a PG scene about two teenagers having an intimate experience. It felt so inappropriate to hear my director say that this was a personal thing for me and my co-star.”
Ferrell explained that the scene involved her character, a younger version of Lily, while the older Lily was played by Blake Lively“Losing Your Virginity.”
“The way it was described in the script and the way the intimacy coordinator broke it down was that it wasn’t supposed to be sexy or hot or any of those terms, it was supposed to be more innocent and more of a PG type of intimate scene,” she said.
Ferrell also testified second incident The incident occurred involving Baldoni’s command.
“There’s a scene where my character Lily is in her kitchen and another character played by my partner Alex Neustadt “I was making cookies and there was a note that changed the scene where he was spoon-feeding me cookie dough,” she recalled. “Justin offered to have me lick the cookie dough off the spoon and then look up at my partner, which I thought was a little inappropriate given the context of the scene.”
While Ferrer found the direction “inappropriate,” she did not file a formal complaint against Baldoni. The actress added that she wasn’t “uncomfortable” with his comments, she just thought it was inappropriate.
“In the scenes we were shooting, I felt like my character would do something like that because she was 16 and still in high school, and it just didn’t make sense to me,” she said.
Ferrell also claimed that Neustadt told her that Baldoni encouraged him to get to know her better and made suggestive gestures that Ferrell deemed inappropriate.
“This is what Alex said a few months later, when I had left them both and we were getting ready to go to Jersey City for the first time…” she claimed. “Justin pulled Alex aside and said he wanted Alex to really get to know me, and yeah, he gave him a wink.”
Ferrer claimed that she took Baldoni’s wink as a sign that “I thought this approach was inappropriate.”
