Sullivan’s Crossing There have been some surprising cast changes and twists, but will the hit show return for a fourth season?

Patterson clarifies it was not his choice leave Sullivan’s Crossing.
“It’s unfortunate that there are now suggestions that they have left me/Sully when the complete opposite is true and those who have sadly spoken out are fully aware of this fact but have chosen to say the opposite,” he continued. “I didn’t intend to make any statements, but fans of the books and TV series deserve to know the truth because I have always respected those who support the industry by watching and loving these characters, whom we are so lucky and blessed to be able to portray and present.”
