Zach Bryanthe new bride, Samantha LeonardOn their wedding day, he found a sweet way to honor his late mother, Annette DeAnn Bryan (née Mullen).
The 29-year-old country music star gushed on his Instagram Story on Monday, January 5: “Samantha specifically tied my mom’s wedding lace into her dress and I cried so much. This is so meaningful, thank you darling.”
“Wish you were here right now, gorgeous,” he then captioned a follow-up slideshow of Annette’s, showing off what his mother wore on her big day. She completed her look with a beautiful white veil and delicate necklace.
Annette passed away in August 2016, and Zach wrote a heartfelt post mourning her passing.
“My mom is my best friend and I call her on the way to work every morning at 6 a.m. and she calls me every night after her workout and asks, ‘How many miles did you run today?’ She knows me better than I do and she knows me better than anyone else,” he wrote on Instagram at the time. “She’s kept me out of a lot of trouble, she’s been my refuge. I could say a lot of clichés and a long list of reasons why I love her, but I can’t write a novel.”
The “The Sky Is Pink” hitmaker went on to describe his mother as a “beautiful woman with a beautiful heart full of kind words and smiles that she loved to share with me,” adding, “Every memory, every moment is woven into my soul.”
