adapted from novel Janice Hadlow, Another Bennet sister Follow the following events pride and Prejudice From Mary Bennet (Ella Brucolelli) point of view. The story picks up from there, following Mary as she travels to London and the Lake District, while the neglected sister from the extended Bennett family experiences a romantic adventure in Regency England.

“From an early age, she was considered to have less desirable qualities than her sisters,” Brucolelli told The Hollywood Reporter . “She starts to believe that she’s inherently unlovable. And then the moment she’s away from her family, she starts to see things differently. I mean, she has setbacks all the time, but it’s really a story about the transformative power of kindness.”
She continued: “It’s disguised as a love story. I personally don’t think so. I think it’s a love story between Mary and herself.”
Brucolelli happy to unpack She added, “For Mary, she didn’t understand the rules of the game. She was trying very hard to make other people happy. She did that through learning – really extensive learning, because that’s all she knew. That’s how her brain worked.”
She added: “She worked out how to be as attractive as her sisters, mainly to her mother. But just did it in completely the wrong way. It still didn’t work. I guess I really liked Mary’s diligence. It’s also the way I approach work – I do it through study rather than instinct. And I can be very obsessive about how prepared I am for something.”
