“What was I talking about in the first episode?” she asked Lofland. “About your Adam’s apple being a soup can.”
Randolph was referring to her line: “Did you swallow the soup can? Oh, that’s your Adam’s apple.”
The Landman Season 2 premiere featured one of those iconic family dinners, and this time it was the theme. After Ainsley was admitted to Texas Christian University, Angela decorated the house and had a nice, healthy night. Of course, things get a little tricky when she and Tommy work together, leading to a food fight featuring black pepper sauce.
“There’s something about it that feels like they kind of like it,” Randolph told us about the family struggles between her on-screen parents.

“We’re held hostage here. If (Angela) says we eat paella, we eat paella… no matter what she says,” Fiore said of his character. “There’s an intensity to the circus she runs, and we just have to learn to live with it. Sometimes it’s easy, sometimes not.”
In addition to this season’s obvious oil industry woes, viewers will continue to see the Norris family in all its dynamic and crazy glory. Both Loveland and Randolph just want to see their characters get along — to get over their hatred for each other.
“We hope (our relationship) can grow further. We have a lot of fun with it because we get along so well personally,” Randolph said. “Of course, I love Jacob. I feel like he’s my real brother, but I don’t have that relationship with my siblings. So it was fun to bring this dynamic collaboration to life on screen.”

Randolph noted that viewers don’t know much about Cooper and Ansley’s history and where this animosity stems from.
“I would say they are complete opposites. I think Ainsley represents everything that Cooper despises and vice versa,” she continued. “There’s nothing in common between the two of them.”
Lofland added, “I think there’s a lot of love in it, though. There’s love, just in a sense of, ‘I hate you.'”
