How Andrew’s BBC interview compares to what Epstein emails now tell us

Claims made by then-Prince Andrew in a 2019 BBC Newsnight interview are likely to come under fresh scrutiny following the latest release of the Epstein documents.

The BBC’s Sean Coughlan and Sarah Campbell conducted interviews comparing Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s responses to emails apparently sent between the former princes.

He faces growing pressure from U.S. officials and the family of late accuser Virginia Giuffre to testify in the U.S. about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

The disgraced financier was convicted of soliciting children for prostitution in 2008 and committed suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

The BBC has contacted Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor for comment. He has previously denied any wrongdoing.
