The 36-year-old athlete filed legal documents on Tuesday, January 6, claiming that Haley, 33, made “intrusive comments” and drew “unnecessary attention” when he said during a Twitch stream in November 2025 that the size of his penis was the “biggest factor” in the pair’s breakup. The lawsuit has been a painful and emotionally draining experience, and I am heartbroken that he has chosen to put us and our families through this ordeal,” the statement read.

According to TMZ, Matt’s lawsuit claims Hailey’s words “implied that the size of (Matt’s) genitals was a major factor in the parties’ divorce and claimed that sexual intercourse… would make her ‘cry’.”
The documents reportedly claim Matt said his family was “forced” to endure the continued public circulation of these degrading and deeply personal remarks.
Matt’s filing also claims that Haley was able to “financially benefit from the surge in traffic.” According to the outlet, Matt is currently seeking damages “for all causes alleged in the complaint” totaling “more than $75,000.”
