Hailee Steinfeld is sharing details of the adorable baby shower her mom organized, Cherry.
“On a sunny Saturday in Los Angeles, my mom and about 30 of the women I love dearly gathered for a baby shower in the place where I feel most comfortable – my backyard,” the 29-year-old Oscar nominee wrote via Beauty Association Newsletter for Tuesday, March 17th. “My mom planned the whole glam thing.”
For the party, Stanfield’s mom decorated the backyard with tons of gingham, from tablecloths to decorative ribbons, and even a knitting station for her guests to create a special gift for her little one.
“There’s no baby shower theme per se, but there are subtle nursery rhyme threads woven throughout the decor,” sinner the actress wrote, noting that parenting books were scattered “everywhere.”

“Everyone brought a book, so this baby is building a little library,” she wrote.
Guests were also invited to knit their own handkerchiefs as a blanket for the star’s first child with her husband Josh Allen.
“This was a very full-circle moment for me because my mom started knitting when I was making my first movie,” Stanfield explains. “She sat in her trailer all day and needed something to do. It was either Sudoku or knitting, and she chose the latter. Our family joked that she was going to knit for the red carpet because she didn’t stop.”
“She taught me how to knit a long time ago,” The edge of seventeen Star continued. “I couldn’t really put it on or take it off, but I was able to knit a square to put on this baby’s blanket. I feel like I’ve restarted a fun hobby.”

Stanfield first announced her pregnancy in December 2025 in her Beau Society newsletter. She and Buffalo Bills quarterback Allen, also 29, first dated in May 2023 and announced their engagement in November 2024. The couple tied the knot in May last year.
