A group of fraudsters calling themselves the “Department of Peace” has allegedly hacked the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), releasing allegedly stolen documents online.
On Sunday, the nonprofit organization DDoSecrets published data related to contracts between DHS, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and more than 6,000 companies, including defense contractors Anduril, L3Harris, Raytheon, and management services provider Palantir, as well as technology giants Microsoft and Oracle.
The hacktivist said the data comes from Office of Industry Partnershipthe division within DHS that purchases technology from the private sector.
DHS and ICE did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
