The company first he invented Personal Intelligence last week in the Gemini program to allow the AI ​​assistant to adapt its solutions by interacting with your Google environment, starting with Gmail, Photos, Search, and YouTube history.
Sign-in is now rolling out to AI Mode to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers in English in the US.
By bringing Personal Intelligence to Gemini and AI Mode, Google is leveraging user data already within its ecosystem. Since users already rely on services like Gmail and Photos, Google can deliver an experience that its competitors can’t match. Of course, not everyone wants AI to check their photos and emails, so you can turn Personal Intelligence on or off at any time.

Say you’re planning a vacation and looking for things to do and restaurants that everyone in your family will enjoy. With Personal Intelligence, AI Mode can capture your hotel reservations in Gmail and memories of previous trips in Google Photos to create a personalized travel experience. For example, you can see ideas like old ice cream parlors based on many ice cream selfies stored in Google Photos.
Google says that AI Mode doesn’t just give you a list of restaurants and events; instead it provides an individual starting point for planning.

“Personal Intelligence can also be especially useful in shopping, because AI Mode takes into account the types of things you buy and where you buy them,” Stein wrote. “If you need a new shirt for your upcoming trip, AI Mode can automatically think of the color you’ll like, and your flight confirmation in Gmail to know your destination and time (Chicago in March). You’ll get ideas for windproof, versatile shirts that fit the weather and the look you like. It’s like a shopper who already knows your trip and where you’re going.”

The company notes that AI Mode doesn’t teach directly to your Gmail inbox or Google Photos library. Instead, it teaches on real information and model solutions.
