Two teenage girls accused of trying to resurrect Sandy Hook gunman by killing another student Adam Lanza The video shows them smiling, laughing and nonchalantly discussing their failed murder plot in the back seat of a police cruiser.

Two Lake Brantley High School students have been charged as adults in connection with an attempted murder incident in which they allegedly planned to attack a classmate, police said, according to court documents.
Police believe the two students hatched an elaborate plan that included specific steps, specific projects and specific goals. Valdez reportedly told investigators that she heard voices telling her that killing the boy would create a “blood relationship” with Lanza and ultimately bring the killer back to life.
Lanza was the man behind the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. Lanza murdered 20 children aged 6 and 7 and six adult faculty members before committing suicide at the crime scene.
The girls also appeared to discuss their upcoming photo shoot on their way to the station.
“I was going to do makeup for this photo this morning, but I couldn’t find anything,” Valdez said.
Valdez even said she was “excited,” the video shows.
“I thought I was going to be sent to the (expletive) psych ward. That’s why I was so excited about everything.”
On January 22, a neighboring police station received an anonymous tip that a student was planning to kill another student the next day.
After the girl was arrested, Valdez allegedly told detectives that the intended victim was “perfect and reminded her of Adam Lanza.”
Investigators said Valdez recruited Lippert to help her kill the victim by slitting his throat in a school bathroom and drinking his blood. Valdez had a knife, gloves, trash bags and wet wipes in his backpack when he was arrested.
As the two were handcuffed in the back of a patrol car, Valdez also told Lippert, “I don’t feel guilty about what I did.”
However, she did feel sorry for her mother.

“I feel bad for my mom. That’s the only person I feel bad for,” Valdez said. “And you. I feel bad for your mom, too.”
Valdez and Lippert have both pleaded not guilty to attempted murder. Attempts to reach their attorneys for comment on Friday, March 13 were unsuccessful.
After Valdez and Lippert were arrested, Seminole County Public Schools released a statement about the incident.
“We are extremely grateful to this individual for his courageous report, which allowed law enforcement to take prompt action,” the statement said, according to Click Orlando. “Thanks to the seamless collaboration between our school and law enforcement partners, this situation was safely resolved.”
