“The surgery went exactly as expected, no surprises, no drama (for once 😅), just very precise work by an incredible medical team,” he continued. “They removed the bone and tissue that was compressing the nerves, giving my spinal cord, discs and radiating nerves the space they needed to heal and function properly.”

Following the surgery, Frankie’s next steps include “four weeks of recovery” and physical therapy.

“Now 4 weeks of rehab, rest, physiotherapy and treating my body better than usual. Merry Christmas! 😜,” he said. “I’m sore, I’m tired, but I’m safe, I’m relieved, and I’m already feeling hopeful. This is a necessary step so that I can get back on my feet, back on stage, and back to living a full life without the pain of hosting a show.”

Frankie also expressed his gratitude for the “love, prayers, messages and support” he has received so far.

“Truly felt and deeply grateful. This is ongoing therapy. 🦋✨,” he wrote. “See you soon… Stronger, more stable, stand taller. 😘💫.”

Several of Frankie’s friends took to the comments section to wish him a speedy recovery, including Gloria Estefan, Carson Kressley, Deborah Cox etc.
