Fire breaks out in Tehran after Israeli attack on oil refinery

Witnesses in Tehran captured the aftermath of the airstrike on the oil depot, with flames and smoke engulfing the surrounding cityscape.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it struck “several fuel storage facilities” in the Iranian capital, which the National Iranian Oil Company later confirmed.

One resident told the BBC: “It was like night turned into day.”
